Anyone could have predicted it. Everyone who is put on a pedestal will get ripped the first minute they have a shot at them.

Like i was telling homeboy last night

  1. Jordan came into the league and got ripped for not being/playing like Magic.
  2. Shaq came into the league and got ripped for only being able to dunk
  3. Iverson came in and got ripped for being a ball hog (same shyt they said about Jordan)
  4. Kobe got ripped for trying to be too much like Jordan. Consistent with #1.. ok
  5. Lebron came in and got ripped for not being like Jordan. Wait a minute...
  6. Dwight came in and is being ripped for not being like Shaq and being like Shaq.

You cant please critics. :manny:

This has gotta be the 7th time this thread has been made and the 406th time that interview has been referenced in regards to LeBron eventually receiving hate.

Pretty ignorant to cite this.

LeBron created the hatred, people were in love with him before "The Decision".

Plain and simple, people don't like frontrunners/guys who take the easy way out

That's not true at all.

I could take the easy way out tomorrow, I know drug dealers and I could get into that field if I wanted to. That's the easy way out of paying my bills.

My whole point is, what kinda sports movies do people enjoy? Do they enjoy the ones where all the really talented people get together on one team, or do they enjoy the underdog who beats the odds?

There's no way in hell LeBron was ever gonna be a fan favorite after that "Decision".

It never fails somebody goes far extreme with it for what reason I don't know. Imo drug dealing is a bad example at least name something legal. I'm moreso talking about in the sports context too if you could have the same success but (1) win a ring(s) right away or (2) have to take 5yrs of losing to start doing it which one or you taking? Maybe you into that struggle shyt but me I'll take mine right off top. Why take the hard route if you can be just as successful taking the easy road? Don't get people well actually I do they are into that work harder not smarter shyt.

I have no qualms about dude taking his future into his own hands. He went somewhere and surrounded himself with the best talent, friends, and living in Miami. fukk a critic I would've took my talents and head band collection to southbeach as well. If this was a movie these cats said fukk the old script and the producers and are setting records. Success is the best way to silence a critic :myman:

That's not it... There are other costs to selling drugs.

If a better company offers me a chance for a more successful career with better colleagues with similar (maybe even more) salary, I take it without question. Would I really rather work for a lesser company with less likelihood to succeed because "I want to do it alone"... No

Drug dealing is illegal and harmful to the community. Going to play basketball in a sunny city with your freinds is not. Horrible comparison. The irony is that nikkas who actually sold drugs or espouse selling drugs never recieved anywhere near the backlash that Bron did. As a matter of fact nikkas like Jay, TI, Ross, Jeezy, Wayne, Gucci etc. are fukking worshipped in some circles. I just can't over how bad that analogy was. :mindblown:

What kinda sports teams in real life do people support? :ld: The star studded ones or the plucky upstarts. :usure: The teams that get the most coverage and most regular rememberance are the star-studded juggernauts. If what you proposed was true the Yankees and Lakers and Cowboys with their star ladden history wouldn't be as big as they are.

People hated on Lebron becuase of their own insecurity/fear, period. :stopitslime:

The only people who still bring up the decision are ironically lebron Stans. It's like every month or 2 they have to make a thread crying about something to the effect of

"But but leave lebron alone":to:

Almost like they insecure about it

Yo Dwight is wack for that sh!t though. He was trying to be a complete clone. Even stealing the whole superman theme of Shaq. Then going from Orlando to the Lakers. Him trying to be funny and imitate Shaq's persona. Its shameful that a grown man chose to or is trying so hard to be a clone. Im waiting for him to leave the lakers for Miami in a few years.
