If anything I think it's the other way around, Dave sounded like he was tryna mimic Skippa Da Flippa's tone but couldn't figure out to deliver it.

Mozzy has a much bigger organic buzz than Dave East ever had and he has a better discography, Dave East don't got a project fukkin with Bladadah or Yellow Tape Activities or even the new one he just dropped with June. Mozzy shoulda got that freshman spot way before Dave East period, he can more than hold his own bar for bar.

Is he really more regional than Dave East tho? Without the XXL cover, what song would a West Coast nikka know Dave East for? The only song I actually heard any kind of buzz for was "KD" and that was in my circle of folks who check for East Coast rap. The way Dave East is getting pushed you would think he had Nipsey Hussle's level of fanbase/notoriety but he really doesn't.

Also, it don't make sense to say Dave East less regional than Mozzy when one got problems regularly pushing more than 1 million views on youtube and the other got multiple songs with 5 million or more. Do Dave East even got a song as popular as "Bladadah"?
