I think people easily forget how close the race was between him and Beto. Cruz isn't well liked here in Texas and all it would take for him to lose is people turning out to vote. It's the people with the rhetoric "my vote doesn't count" here in Texas that will cause him to be re-elected. If you are in Texas you should be encouraging everyone you know to get out and vote because this is a winnable race for Allred.

There is a contingent of Republicans that will always vote Republican no matter what. In Texas it's roughly 40/40/20 Repub/Dem/Indp. Previous polls show the Dems just need to get out in vote instead of having a defeatist attitude because Texas is a red state. Also the Cali people moving here aren't necessary of the liberal variety.
