Whole Foods is my first love. Their produce section is :ohlawd: and the general atmosphere is :ahh:. It's the only place on earth where I can spend almost $300/wk and still :lolbron:.

Trader Joe's is my side bytch and the place I go to when I need something cheap and dirty. It's chaotic as well and the lines leave me feeling :mjcry: each and every time. The produce, in general, is :scust:. But those snacks and hummus are :takedat:, so good. And the prices are just right. A decent haul of avocados, assortment of cheeses and snacks for less than 30 bucks. Not bad.:ehh:

If I could afford it, I'd love to shop regularly at Whole Foods.

Trader Joes is great, but every Trader Joes I've ever been to was small and crowded and just poorly designed. It takes too long to get out of there.

Out here in my damn drawls
Trader Joe's and it's not even close :scust:

I do like the lighting and overall atmosphere of a lot of the Whole Foods stores tho. Last time I went in there they had Sade playing :heh:

:mindblown:

What does TJ have that WF doesn't? I've been in several TJs and I still don't get the hype.

The TJ love begins and ends with its prices. If money wasn't an issue, many of its 'believers' would be WF regulars.

Like I've said, TJ is great for cheap delicious snacks, oils and other packaged stuff. But if you're into eating fresh 'whole foods' there's only ONE option. :sas1:

But I must say, their avocado deal (4 for ~3.25$) CANNOT be beat.
