"even?" Peyton the GOAT, I don't understand how you say "even"

Matt Cassel coming in and posting career numbers effectively made Brady look like a product of the system from there on out

something that will go ignored

Cassel took over a record-breaking team and went 11-5 and missed the playoffs. As garbage as Cassel is now, fact is he made a Pro Bowl after leaving the Patriots. The dude was good to some degree. So good he got drafted, even though he never started in college. I don't expect a casual fan like yourself to understand any of this, though. You're the product of ESPN. You're sheep. A zombie.

Oh, and by your logic, Joe Montana is a system QB since Steve Young took over and dominated as well.

You gonna shyt on 3 historical QB's just to slurp on Seyton, breh?

Yall know they still had all of their weapons on both sides of the ball that year right???? Cassell was a solid QB, he went to an average team the next year and did solid, then fell off the map :yeshrug:, he posted those numbers cause they still had a great team offensively. Lets not sit here and act like he put up Brady like numbers, he just won games period.

Steve Young was breeded to replace Montana, Cassel was some bum that had upside, it's not the same situation. The fact of the matter is that same bum still lit shyt up in the system, and that same bum wasn't shyt afterwards.

You do realize that those WRs are what they are (with exception of Wes) because of Peyton, right? DT could barely run a slant two years ago. JT was a project on the practice squad two years ago. I remember articles where they were saying Peyton was working with this kid everyday and just wait until he's ready. Sanders previous career high was 800 yards for the season. Meanwhile Eric Decker still ain't had a 100 yard game in NY yet.

Tom and Peyton are still obviously on the same level. I personally think Tom is injured since last year and ain't been 100% (possibly a back injury), but we gotta kill this talking weapons point. Most of us was like :stopitslime: when Peyton chose Denver over SF and Peyton was chilling cause all he wanted was some big ass WRs. He was gonna figure the rest out. If Tannehill came there now after Peyton developed them? Sure. He'd be balling a bit, but when Peyton first got there? Only Aaron and Brady was gonna make that shyt work.

Fasho. I feel you my nig, that's why I don't use bullshyt like that to win debates cause it can be said on both sides for Brady and Manning. Til this day I cant put 1 over the other, they might be the most equal comparison in sports history. Im just glad I got to see both of their careers in full. I don't think anything will be final until they are both retired and even then I don't think the comparison will be one sided in either case.

Realest posts in this thread. :salute:

What did Peyton do at Foxboro under the old rules? :mjlol:

Some of you nikkas started watching football in 2012 I guess. :manny:

Has Brady not had his best individual seasons under the new rules? It's :dwillhuh:/:mindblown: when people try to bring the rule changes into a discussion of contemporaries. I'm sure Brady (and all the records he's broken since the changes were made) hasn't benefitted from the rules changes...only Peyton :comeon:.

Who said he didn't benefit? But at the end of the day, Brady has won under the old rules and has played most of his career with average receivers. Peyton has one ring with weapons like Harrison and Wayne and now what he has in Denver.. :manny:
