Now an opinion on the realm of art is just that an opinion..there are pieces of art regarded as classics that would make ur jaw drop(example: the infamous invisible sculpture) so u trying to make the discussion on deciding "good" or "bad" in art objective in any way or form does not work breh...because unfortunately for u that is the nature of art

It's all a matter of preference though. Pac is a better MC. That can't really be debated too much IMO.
But I truly believe Kanye is a better creator. He just makes better music, and a lot of that comes from him being a producer.
I produce and work at a recording studio when Im home in NYC. and I'll tell you there's a different level of creation when you're a producer and a vocalist.
You can tell a painter what you want, and he'll do his best. but some things can't be put into words.
You got a guy like Drake, who has someone who knows him well musically. But 40 can never know Drake the way Drake knows Drake. Or the way Kanye knows Kanye.
It's a different range of quality when the instrumental and the vocals come from the same plug. Which is why Prince had the quality of music he had in his prime. All the content was coming from the same source, at the highest level of creativity and creation. Theres perfect chemistry vocally and musically when their coming from one person.
You sacrifice SOME personal quality when you're getting the shyt from two different places. Which is why artists like Ye', Prince, Andre 3K, sometimes have a feel to their music that other people don't.

It does make it wrong because an opinion needs credibility to be valid. Someone could say I think Jay Z is white, might be their opinion but would be wrong. Hip Hop heads hold the weight in Hip Hop not pop fans.

Bad analogy indeedIt might be their opinion the science is wrong. Well I think it can be proven if you have the knowledge because you can state why something is dope, in terms of lyrics, content, structure, rhyme schemes, writing techniques, delivery, flow, melody and many other factors. You just have to actually know what your talking about. It doesn't necessarily make it a fact but it makes it an opinion that holds more weight.
It's the perfect analogy, people can have all types of crazy opinions, doesn't make them credible.
