The things we are exposed to early in life leave permanent imprints on our psyches even long after we've reached adulthood.
That's why you'e not supposed to play with baby birds. They will imprint on you as their mother and be unable to recognize their own mother when she comes back
People who are deaf and blind are still able to learn how to understand speech by placing their hand on someones throat and face and translating the vibrations and movement of the face and neck muscles into words. True story.
Unfortunately this technique doesn't work if they lost their sight before 18 months of age. We might not know it but an infant of one year has seen enough and heard enough to be able to relearn their language after losing both their sight and their hearing. Infants who are given up for adoption in other countries are still able to somehow recognize and subconsciously understand their mother tongue, even though they never learned to speak it and don't consciously comprehend what is being said.
I say all that to make the point that if you don't think what you watch and listen to is important then you are dead wrong. Everybody in America and the western world grows up believing white is right and black is wrong. That is the message behind almost everything. And once that is taught to you as a child and is imprinted, getting it out of your head is like moving a mountain.
I too grew up believing white girl were prettier and I can remember during my childhood I only really had crushes on white girls. Fortunately I was conscious enough to realize what the fukk was going on and I grew out of it but many don't.

I asked if there were black girls in his class he said yea. I asked him why he doesn't have a crush one on of them and he said he doesnt find them attracting and just likes the way white girls are better.

its because of all those black slave movies and media . They associate white as pretty and black women(and themselves) as underclass because all they see on tv is down rotten black images from Selma , to 12 years and the help. the domiant society are working hard to make sure negative images stick in the subconscious of the young.

This is what they want us to be and by constantly showing these images they are subconsciously programming the viewer to be that. This is why I say we need to move away from fantasy, romance, musicals and such and see something about our true origin. We exsisted before the 60's and before slavery but Hollywood don't want you know that (Exodus God's and Kings should have been a clue) . Getting in touch with that and our role in the scriptures would be good for black people"
