Festival pier is a good venue. They do look through bags and do the wand shyt though.

Yea it should be dope dont get me wrong ive gone like every year. Last year is when Action bronson went through the crowd, climed up this tower and belly flopped onto a van. then he went in tried to get water ice from this vendor and she said no and he called her a c*nt all of this while hes still rappin.

I went in 2010 when it was a lot bigger... seem like they cut down on the amount of acts

But that year Wiz Khalifa killed it as did NaS

Shyt is exhausting tho, I wouldn't recommend getting there right when it open, shyt runs alllll day. I was ready to go by like 4.

I don't want to get get there early but the people I'm with are pressed to get in there talking about "we want to get a good spot"

My plan was to get drunk and Brunch an walk in there nice but I don't know about being drunk in that 90 degrees. Is there shade anywhere?

I don't think there is. I've never been there. I'm driving from Brooklyn. I never been to a festival on an open field where there is shade. I got a bucket hat and thin long sleeve button up and khaki shorts on deck. Sheeeit, I might even rock some chancletas.

LOL, nah breh. Its big open area on the side of the river.

Edit: actually there is one tent bar area when you first walk in but you can't see the stages from there

Super dope time. loved the roots/badu set. Brought out YG/freeway & Neef and LOX!

Rocky was cool I wish he did more joints off his first album. I liked DJ mustards set too.

Porta Pottys were redic, ran out of water and hand soap early. Lines for food and drink were OD long. And by the main stage all they had was chicken strips and fries.

I had a blast tho, ton of black folks out, met a couple pretty chicks from jers and philly and one from NY. Ended the night with a heavenly cheesesteak on south street. Philly was good to a nikka
