It’s only like 4 years difference right? I could see Bron making it to 2025, that’d make him about 39 and KD about 35? Depends on which one you think will age bettet

Are u sure bron retires before KD?

I can see Bron playing on some Vince Carter type...but KD lanky self past 33...:yeshrug:
Bron is in year 15 and is the fastest to however many minutes he has, 40K, 50K, whatever it is. Durant plays on a team with 3 other All-Stars. No way in hell KD retires before LeBron barring some horrible career-ending injury no one wants to see.

You realize that both Jordan and Durant were 28 when they won their first rings right?
Durant aint Jordan

I used to think that GSW, would have the league in a choke hold but I dont think they will anymore,

You can tell they're slipping a little bit, KD and Steph already are 30 next yr
Steph is 30 in a few weeks

30 is still in the middle of a player's prime. He's good for another 3-4 years before his game starts to see noticeable declines.

Shaq won Finals MVP at age 30.

Yeah, Shaq won Finals MVP at age 30, and by 31-32 he was starting to show noticeable declines. That was a bad example.

There are a LOT of players who start declining long before 33-34. Especially because injuries become more common at those ages, and once you get a serious injury post 30 you rarely come back to your prime.

Bird's last great season was at 31.

Wade began showing noticeable decline at 30.

CP3 began losing a step around 30.

Paul Pierce peaked around 28-29 and slowed down after that.

Carmelo the same, peaked around 28-29 and then began to lose a step.

Garnett was good at 31 but still wasn't prime Garnett

Kobe was a warrior and yet by 32 he was basically only playing on one end of the floor

Even Duncan, who lasted as long as anyone ever does, really peaked around 26-27 and showed serious decline after 30.

There are players who last longer, but you can't just assume it. It's entirely possible that you'll see Durant begin to lose a step by 31 or 32.
