In an era where 2d games where still poppin hard, and for the best 3d games you went to the arcade.
SS>>>psx when it came to 2d and psx>>.SS when it came to 3d.
2D games wasn't popping hard when Saturn dropped breh. Unless you mean shyt like "Street Fighter: Alpha". The biggest selling/most popular titles were all 3D.
And by the time the 32-bit consoles dropped arcades were being phased out.
I can't even say "SS>>>PS" when it comes to 2D because arguably
the defining 32-bit 2D game of that era, "Symphony Of The Night", actually ran worse on the Saturn.
The Saturn was just a poor console. It was designed like shyt. It had two processors that were virtually impossible to work in tandem. Even in-house developers like Yu Suzuki openly criticized it.
And for the record I had a Saturn
before a PS. It had some classic titles. But it failed because it wasn't a good console. I eventually traded it in for a PS.
