To each his own Isaiah is one of the better artists on that list, but I'm gonna need to hear a lot more material before I put him over Gates. I haven't heard a song from Isaiah that can evoke emotion as well as Gates does.

Nah, no need to hear more material from him for me to know he's a better artist. And there are multiple artists on that list that evoke just as much if not more emotion than Gates IMO. And lyrically he's not that great at to me... but he is capable of making good cohesive songs

Some fans are so fukking fickle. When they know everybody on the list they say they're "plants", when they don't know anybody on the list they question the relevance of todays Hip-Hop.

Find a new artist you like on your OWN, if one of them winds up on a list, chalk it up as a win. If you hear about someone you've never heard of, give them a listen, make a decision. It's simple.
