for me it had to be when Chipper Jones & Bobby Cox were no longer apart of the Braves. the Braves were my fav team growing up and as long as i remember these 2 were apart of the team. i dont think i could name 5 Braves these days so seeing them depart was the last link to my favorite childhood team. also Grant Hill and Jason Kidd. i still remember them winning co-rookies of the year

I still remember being in awe watching his college highlights on sportscenter like it was yesterday.

Too many to name, but seeing guys like Kobe, Garnett and Duncan still playing into their 17th, 18th and 19th seasons reminds me of getting baseball/basketball cards as a kid. You'd always get a couple old guys' cards in a pack and look at the backs where they list all the seasons and see they started in the early 70s.

Big Dog Robinson was asking for a 100 million straight outta college, he got a son in the NBA now

I had a Larry Johnson/Shaquille O'neal futures card brehs...Beckett had it at like 200 dollars off the rip

I'd also add Jon Ogden. I remember the day he got drafted, holding up the generic Ravens "NFL" jersey (they hadn't decided on a logo/colors yet). Makes me feel even that much older now that he's about to go to Canton.

Once Kobe, Garnett, and Duncan retire, that's when it'll hit me that i'm getting I can still remember being in elementary school watching Kobe ballout in the 98 all star game, and a young TD beating the Knicks in 99
