I need to see Love on a winning team before I can answer this. It's just so tough.

I'd take Love over Aldridge 'cause he's a better rebounder and scorer. You can hide Love if you put him alongside a defensive C. Kind of like how Portland have set themselves up with having Lopez playing alongside Aldridge to do the dirty work.

It seems like a lot of posters are somehow under the impression that Portland has been like a perennial powerhouse or something :what:

You people know that this is their first year of actually being a really good team in about 15 years, right? And its been a complete surprise, no less.

idk why you guys are saying LMA is a good defender. portland is not a good defensive team at all, and big men are always the key to great defense.

aldridge is on a better team so the argument hes on a contender isnt a valid reason to be better than love either.

im not saying who is better because i honestly cant call it, but its closer than yall are making it out to be.

What would the teams' records be if the roles were reversed? People taking LMA over Love think that he'd turn Minnesota into something that Love can't? And that Portland wouldnt be a "contending team" if they had Love instead? :dahell:

its crazy what winning does to a players career :wow: i wish somebody could find this same thread made last year or something

Nothing more annoying than "and it's not even close" statements for two players who are obviously close in talent.

You'd think people were asking about who's better between Tim Duncan and Kurt Thomas.
