When I think of the GOAT failed mascot of the 90s, I think of mascots that put out good games but never popped like they should have.
Goemon, earth worm Jim, rocket knight, etc.

I do kind of miss when sega and psx would release virtually anything lol. We got some real hidden gems back then. Even the trash games were entertaining off novelty, alone.
