it seems like everyone in the top 10 is a gangster rapper, or a rapper who raps/rapped about violence a lot. It begs the question, can you rank highly in Hip Hop without violent content?

3 Stacks is dope no doubt, if you take Southernplayalistic into account I don't think he fits the criteria. Just depends what you consider "violent".

It depends on what's meant by non violent. If it's a rapper that you wouldn't class as a straight up gangsta rapper would probably be K-Rino.

If it's a rapper with little to no violent content would probably be Rakim.
