For me I gotta say The Black Keys. I feel like rock fell off hard in the mainstream after them. The mid to late 2010s was the death of mainstream rock in my eyes.

Relevant to who? Black Keys isn't a bad answer. I couldnt stand them but Kings of Leon were everywhere for a bit.
Like a major label push type of rock band. Getting radio play and all that. Compared to these days where ain't no new rock bands moving the culture or numbers like that.

Of course we all have bands we listen to no matter what, but there's no new Nirvanas, Guns and Roses or My Chemical Romances coming out these days in terms of star power.
