@Poitier to quote Draft express in regards to Lavine, "Zach Lavine (to me) looks more like a Kevin Martin/Jeremy Lamb/Austin Rivers style SG. Narrow frame, rarely goes to rim/line. Pure scorer."

:heh: I think you're being bamboozled by those pedestrian ass wide open dunks. That was my point with the Daequan Cook comparison. In the open floor with no one in his way, yeah Cook looks like a great athlete when throws down a nice dunk, so does this kid, but there's nothing special whatsoever about this shyt here.
Cook doesn't have explosiveness, BBIQ, play with any intensity, and Cook isn't a great athlete or close to it. Not to mention, he isn't a good Basketball player. Leave Hoops to the brehs who really know what watch for. That way we can leave guys who compare true talents to D. Cook and G. Green. Sometimes ya'll be killing me with these underrating of players. This is like those white boys who compare every black QB to Akili Smith.

Greg Anthony just called dude the best athlete in the country yet those dunks were pedestrian?

Scouts are saying theyd take him top 10 in one of the best drafts weve seen yet you whove only seen him in a few highlights are the one whos gonna tell us that dude isnt that good:childplease:

I never said he wasn't good, I just said based on a 2 minute clip that I can't evaluate shyt about him, but there's nothing about him that's crazy impressive. Great athletes are a dime a dozen in the NBA. He certainly has a lot of potential. Let's just see what happens.

This website is so fukking stupid sometimes. Quick to crown someone and then tear them down the next. Scouts don't know shyt either.

Most of his tweets can go both ways. How can you say it's too soon to compare him then you make comparisons? Oxy-moron. There is a reason why nbadraft.net has surpass dx and that's because nbadraft actually takes their opinions from actual scouts. dx should just stick to their 15-20 min videos

:heh: Sure thing, blood, whatever you say. Daequan was a good player when he was with the Heat. Embiid is the next Hakeem though right? :russ:

I never said he didn't have talent, I just said it's tough to judge much about him from a short clip showcasing him cherry picking by running back early and hitting wide open jumpshots

Clarkson has been impressive in each Missouri game I watched this season. Solid defender. Heady player. Good BBIQ. Possible NBA draft pick.

Comparing him to Hakeem is more about potential than the actual fact that they play alike. When players play alike, you call them clones. A comparison is just that and it's normally based off of potential if one player is playing in a lower level than another. But seriously, Deaquan Cook? Come on man, you really don't believe that?

There's no question he's a tremendous leaper, but so what? I called him that because he looks like a guy with a quickshot and he throw down a dunk. That's a lazy semi-troll on my part, but I don't get why guys in here who haven't seen him play other than that vid are crowning him already when there's honestly not jack shyt that can be ascertained from that video other than he's not the cutest mixed light skin guy I've ever seen, he can do cool dunks, and he can hit wide open shots, and he runs back really early on offense.

Daequan had zero ceiling, this guy obviously has tremendous ceiling, but who cares if you leap high when you're only taking it to the rim on fastbreaks?

I don't agree Omar and get back to me on this in the middle of the Pac 12 season.

Anyway, what do you think about with Kyle Anderson?

I've literally seen Anderson play three times. I'm gonna watch the rest of this UCLA game right now against Missouri.

Ain't much to say about him other than he has some of the most fukked up facial hair I've ever seen on a human
