Definitely lupe.

I even pick Lupe over Canibus as a better lyricist which is Bis' only good attribute. Lets keep it a buck, Lupe is a way better songwriter and not just a bunch a battleraps rapping ass nikka like Canibus.

Let alone RIP the Jacker is the only Canibus album I really mess with. Lupe at least have 3 AOTY worthy albums in his discography

canibus is not even better than Lupe in that, just cause he is saying 10 syllable word in his sentence dont mean anything. In terms of similes, internal rhyme, multis, content, storytelling , metaphors Lupe beats him in all of that.

Objectively speaking Lupe by a landslide, but experiencing the lead up to Canibus debut in real time was something crazy, the anticipation was huge. But boy when that album came out it was a different story lol. I still enjoy hearing Canibus on the odd Kurupt or Ras Kass feature here and there but his whole career has been a series of disappointments. Stopped really checking for Lupe sometime between The Cool and Lasers but putting their first 2 albums against each other Lupe wins based off conceptuality alone. Plus beat selection make it not close as well.
