i voted swizz too his terrible lol, but pharell is a constant culprit too. :hubie:
I already acknowledged Pharrell be on some bullshyt as well. I do think some of it has to do with him being on the reference track and the artist deciding, "fukk it, leave him on." Even when he's replaced on a hook you can still sometimes hear him underneath the singing. Like on "Come Close" or even "Milkshake" (:dame:), Pharrell is underneath the vocals laid on the final versions. Just a theory.

Regardless, he and Swizz do not occupy the same space. This man launched the solo careers of Justin Timberlake and Gwen Stefani. Straight up launched the careers of Clipse, Slim Thug, Kelis etc. Gave Mystikal, Nelly, Fab, Snoop and Jayz some of their biggest hits. Been awarded a producer of the year Grammy, nominated for an Oscar. On the strength of his hooks. You are tripping and should feel bad for making the comparison.

He didn't launch Gwen Stefani's solo career. She hada few big singles before "Holla Back Girl" including "Rich Girl". Can't really credit with Slim Thug either. I would say Timbo gets the credit for Justin given that "Cry Me A River" is what really gave JT credibility as a solo artist even though he struck first with The Neptunes produced "Like I Love You". That song came off as a MJ rip off and "Cry Me A River" was Justin coming into his own.
