Ill say off top Jay Electronica.. its like this dude didnt even try. Granted he has a lot of material out there that equates to an album or two, but he just didnt do enough.

To me everyone is not meant to blow or be huge, so I cant say a rapper who put out the effort is a disappointment.

Method Man. I know he's had a great solo and group career and is still making quality music, but for me he could've/should've been on that Jay/Nas/Pac/Snoop level of stardom. IMO there's really nothing he can't do on the mic, all kinds of demographics can rock to his music, dope lyrics, flow, "style", etc...and that "it" factor too.

Monch: has the lyrics, flow, rhyme schemes, and concepts that are top 10. Quality albums, just not enough output.
Jada: after over 20 yrs in the game, his last album is his best (and it’s a collab)
Jean Grae: sorta in the Monch camp

And of those mentioned...Jay Elec, Bis, Saigon and Meth.

B.O.B. Dude was killing it to me when he was on his way to dropping his first album. People were calling him a fake 3 Stacks but I was cool with it. I thought he was outta here when this dropped

But he was signed to Atlantic Records and we all know their track record so instead of keeping the same energy, he goes and drops this

I liked nothing on you but it wasn’t that great. Dude is a big disappointment..

Schoolboy Q - he hasn't disappointed me as an artist at all - dude is actually a very good rapper when he wants to spit bars, he also effortlessly can be "lighter" for party/fun songs. he has killed all his guest spots, dude has charisma, makes great music, etc. but the mainstream is sleeping on him and i don't know why. he's easily better than a nikka like big sean, maybe he needs more generic production? more features with bigger names? i dont know

Ab Soul - never expected him to be a star, but i expected him to become a little more well known, like a more appreciated spitter. but he's been a combination of inconsistent, picking poor production, distracted, and has a low output. the "buzz" around him and his execution on control system :ohlawd:

Chamillionaire....he became something entirely different once he hit the mainstream and while I understand why, it was a super let down having been a fan of him from Color Changin Click days. It was cool to see him win a grammy and have a no.1 but having his one hit turned into a weird al banger..:francis:

he getting that tech money now tho, so infinite :salute:s to him
