I owned a genesis and my cousins had an SNES. I remember besting shining force :blessed: but the save feature didn't work so I had to leave my Genesis on for days.
Streets of rage II and George foreman KO boxing.

I never got many presents and toys when I was young. However, I was surprised by an SNES when it first came out (as a birthday present). So naturally, I was on the SNES side.

The Sega commericals were cooler, but I knew deep down the SNES was the better system.

Word the sega advertising was way better, to me. It seemed like SNES catered to the suburban white crowd (play it loud) and Sega catered to the hood.

There were only two games that ever made me kinda want a genesis. Contra hard corps and Gunstar Heroes.

The prices on these games are insane these days. 15 years ago I could've bought Earthbound for 35 bucks, now it's like 150 :damn: Retro gaming is an expensive hobby these days :mjcry:

Lol were you that kid who swore he had a neo geo but nobody ever got to see it.
Kids be telling :duck: for no reason man
My nikka was telling me how he had Bulls vs Suns on Genesis...I'm like nikka why are you LYING to me?

You really couldn't lose with either system, with the exception of copping MK1 on SNES ::scust:...SNES had the graphics and sound advantage, Genesis had the speed. Both had tons of classics in all genres. I had the SNES and my cousin had the Genesis, so we would just back and forth between each other's cribs and winning in life
