50 just got smart and you will see a lot of others follow suit. Instead of giving away what is essentially a mixtape, some songs that are previously recorded for other projects as well as repurpose beats from other artist old songs. He figured he can get a little money with this by calling it an EP.
Get people to purchase the singles and hopefully they will double dip when the full CD comes out.
