I've never had any problems with African women. I dated a beautiful Ethiopian a while back so I don't know where the OP is coming from. I used to work at a hospital in NYC where I was cool with this beautiful married Kenyan sis. I told her I wanted to go to Africa & visit different countries like Kenya. She immediately said to me I have a single younger sister who looks just like me with no kids & a great job. To me, as long as you respect not only the women but the culture, you really shouldn't have too many issues.

It leads me to question what kind of AA men you dated.

Because the term African American men isn't specific enough to paint a picture of your experience since we are a complex group and not a monolith.

I was wondering the same, but everyone has different experiences. The AA men I come across aren't secretly plotting to cheat on any female they come in contact with.
