Why are Americans so....scared?

I came to this conclusion today whilst out grabbing pop tarts from the family dollar store (I'm a frugal spender).

americans scared as fukk of everything.

Obama makes a speech that gets a standing ovation, a bunch of chickenhawk patriot white males go out and buy guns and ammo in massive numbers.

We got people in this country that claim that they'd go in and take ISIS down themselves and all Muslims are terrorists and they've never interacted with a muslim person in their life.

And ofcourse, you got people in this country that could climb a tall mountain or tightrope from a gourge suspended 400 feet in the air, but would risk getting hit by a mac truck to get to the other side of the street to avoid crossing the same path as a black man walking towards them on the same sidewalk...

This country ain't filled with no john wayne gung ho types, that's all fear. Like you got Nancy Grace fearmongering types making a career out of making middle americans scared of their own shadow.

BTW, I actually dig it when people get scared of me. I can't help that I'm a statuesque black male with a dynamic personality that attracts attention. I dig it now when people scurry to get to the other side of the street to avoid cross my path. This just secures my opinion that most people are pussies. I'm a cat lover, would never hurt a fly, and never had a criminal record...but go ahead, let me enjoy this sidewalk to myself while I check the coli on my phone.

last time that happened I straight up smiled in the dude's face. Real talk, if you a black man and don't strike fear in anybody's heart, you a lame and a bytch. fukk respectability politics, why should I change how I operate or how I dress or how I carry myself to comfort the ignorance and insecurities of others?

Fear perpetuated by the media. I was about to cite that documentary as well. It is a very interesting watch. It's shameful how so many people are either unaware of the media's influence or try to downplay it when history shows that it's always been used as a tool of control.
