They weren't touched by the creator

Yeah, I don't know who's worse sometimes. Atheists who are mad I won't label myself as agnostic, or Christians who's mad I won't convert to Christianity.
Either way![]()
As an atheist who has argued against belief in God, I believe I might be able to answer that question, at least in my particular case.
A lot of staunch atheists were raised in fundamentalist religious families. From infancy, they're indoctrinated with fairy tales about a personal god. They may have been taught that they will never die or that they will go to heaven or get resurrected or whatever. As they grow older and investigate such marvelous claims thoroughly, they realize the lack of evidence for them and the impact of the hollow promises hits them like a ton of bricks. They're struck with an overwhelming feeling of meaninglessness and may develop a nihilistic viewpoint. They truly face an existential crisis. Unlike children in secular families (even some that may profess one religion or another), they weren't raised to accept life on its own terms. Some resort to self-destructive behaviors like drug and alcohol abuse. Others find a permanent rift form between them and closest family members based on belief. The impact that these dangerous and objectively silly myths have had on their life frustrates the hell out of them, especially if they squandered youthful potential in their "spiritual" pursuits. So yeah some atheists, myself included, are pissed the fukk off.
We're not angry at God because we don't believe he exists. It'd be a waste of energy. We are angry at how the idea has affected our personal lives and society in general.

Well if they don't follow it then they are not truly religious but simply use it as a coping method because it is a comfort to many.
If they are just using it as a coping method and are not following it then they are just delusional in thinking that they are a true followers.
Let's not entertain their delusional thought where they think that they are religious.
Double enterende for you atheists.![]()
What information is contained in the Quran that Muhammed couldn't have known?
Well then just be aware that your entertaining your feelings more so than fact and are calling them something they are not because of that, so do what you want.Well I didn't call them religious.
But if some one is dealing with religion, in my mind I'll call them religious at that moment.

Thats not what astrophysics says. That Iron wasn't formed on earth but came from space. That from the very beginning there was smoke and that's where planets and moons came from. That the earth and moon are on their individual orbits, that there are waves in the ocean under the waves that we see with the naked eye and a bunch of other things. Even the way that pharaoh I mentioend died, the way the Quran talks about it is different to the Bible, why would Muhammed (pbuh) make up a story completely different to what he may have heard and risk getting it completely wrong?
ps Have you ever read the Quran?
@Napoleon biased or not it's enough for me

Actually most things that lead to the mothers becoming single these days are behaviors that are anything but religious.
What I don't get is why do people get put under the title of religious when they rarely even follow the religion they claim to be apart of.
Bragging about straddling the fence? Where's the virtue in that?

?
fukk outta here breh. My belief system is my belief system.

Straddling the fence is the most scientific thing you could do at this point.Bragging about straddling the fence? Where's the virtue in that?
Thats not what astrophysics says.
Its not "smoke"
But keep playing. You're trying to use later information to confirm ambiguous and liberal interpretations of an already debunked books.

Is that so? If you have read the Quran and believe it was written by a human being then that's your decision.![]()
