This is true and I put the blame on their upbringing. Realistically you cant tell your kids that they can be and do anything that they want. And the entitlement usually stems from being spoiled as hell and not having to work for shyt. They need to understand reality and that shyt is hard out here in these streets.
Oh, and pride comes into play too much too. If your unemployed talkin about your too good to work a fast food job and you would rather sell drugs or be on unemployment..
. SOmetimes you have to suck it up and just do shyt you dont wanna. But our culture tells us and our youth that they dont have to do what they dont want to .smdh... all of it is a vicious cycle.

This is a real ass thread that probably won't get very many responses(because you are probably describing a lot of coli men) I know a lot of black men like ones you described and it's really sad. By the time they figure out their dreams won't come to fruition, they are stuck doing to low level work.
