The entire Bible gives signs of the events that will occur leading up to that time of tribulation...the events afterwards it including the establishment of the Kingdom on earth. Its really going to catch those that are not chosen and are not diligent off guard. The elect men are hastening for that day and watch daily.

34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

So, to the elect that day will not catch them off guard, because they will be prepared whenever the day and hour comes. That day will not come upon them unawares.

This shyt has been a trend as far as I knew growing up. In my own family there's hardly been any males that've remained faithful and religious. Out of the entire family tree, I can name... about 4, maybe a fifth that I'm missing--but they're ALL from the previous generations. My generation ain't shyt out of all of us, I'm by far closest one that got to remaining faithful.... which is ironic, but at the same time pretty predictable, because I'm now the most anti-religious and I've been open about it. I had all the promise until I went to college and was woke I'm rambling though. They're still going thru their mental gymnastics whenever shyt gets awry, as far as I can tell. Anyways... Soon we'll be redirecting asteroids and curing the blind and the idea of God being able to do so won't be as unbelievable anymore.

We observed that the universe was constantly stretching and expanding... and through that theorized that the Universe was all in one condensed space and everything exploded, and began to expand.. When the Bible had been telling us the Universe was constantly expanding for 3000 years!
