I understand that stance as well. While I don't take every chance I get to shyt on religion, like most of these cats do, I'm willing to admit that it's probably done more harm than good(IMO) But as for not believing in a creator, I feel the signs are there and definitely believe there is a God.

You see the only people that are truly hastening for the end of this current world are the elect. Our patience and comfort is built by our understanding of the scriptures...which includes instructions for how to be obedient to the Most High and prophecies to give us understanding in a dark world.

i have seen no studies on black men abandoning "god" per se. i do see that most black church attendance is from women, recovering addicts, and gays, and i would blame that on the pimp preachers. no straight black man who isnt absolutely helpless without guidance is really going to put up with listening to another man run game on him every sunday.
i personally have abandoned the white american christian concept of god primarily because i have come to value knowledge over faith, and i resent religion's role in being a sort of lubricant for imperialism. white people will give you a bible in exchange for your land and your dignity. you will get to the point where you worship them and shyt on your own ancestors and their native beliefs. and on a simple analysis of results, blacks are highly religious in surveys, but are not getting much in return for our prayers. the neighborhood with the most churches is usually the poorest and most dangerous part of town. that is not a coincidence, brehs.
