Correct my ignorance on this subject but who were Africans worshipping before they were kidnapped and brought to America? I pretty sure they didn't have a Bible in their hands. So if that's the case then I don't see how any black person can follow Christianity.

You don't need a Bible to be a Christian. Africans worshipped a 'Creator' and/or nature (animism) before being kidnapped.​
