for me it has nothing to do with riding hard for any particular race. i'm a fan of music not just hip hop. so it's not a stretch for people who have been exposed to music outside of urban top 40 to have an opinion that The Beatles > NWA. There are certainly black artist that are > The Beatles... and i've never liked Elvis... but the absence of color from an artist doesn't automatically make your favorite rap act better than a legend.

Black people get caught up in trying to be accepted. Which is natural...its human nature. White people in hip-hop want to be accepted by black people as well.

More black people need to get back to standing on our own culture and our own standards. We can them come together with other races on an equal merit. Instead of brown nosing to fit in.
