I'll take your Adele and raise you Daley.

This white boy decided to cover Maxwell's "Pretty Wings".

:lawd:

Now you know you got to come correct covering Maxwell. The fact that he had the audacity to attempt it had me like :wtf:. I said ain't no way. Then he started singing and at first I was like :mjpls:, mid-way :whoa:

by the end :ohlawd:

Homeboy ripped it

I really don't see how anyone can call themselves a so called fan of hip hop but then go around and act like its blasphemy to compare 2pac to a nikka like Elvis and The Beatles(music wise). Like really breh yall ride for white people that hard :what:

Not only that but what makes movies like The Godfather better than a movie like Boyz N The Hood or Menace To Society?
What makes boardwark empire or any other white "classic" better than a mini series like 'The Corner'? Because white people say so :comeon:
Yall nikkas kill me with this shytt.

2pac>>Elvis
Wu Tang, NWA, Geto Boyz>>>The Beatles

BITH, Menace To Society>>>The Godfather

These are just facts breh :manny:

youre tripping with that boardwalk comment though

I wouldn't put Elvis over anybody but I dig the Beatles. And I'll personally put them above Tupac, if such a comparison even made sense. Feel free to be mad :umad:

I don't have a problem with anybody's personal musical tastes. Obviously, that's extremely subjective. But I do have a problem with a few self-righteous types who pretend their opinions are facts. If you think Alicia Keys is more talented than Bob Dylan, fine, but pretending like your stance is some sort of inarguable truth makes you (and your opinion) look more silly than it would've looked otherwise.

Bob Dylan on the other hand I can't stand. Good lyrics but his ****ty vocals make his songs unlistenable.

His raspy voice influenced Hendrix to sing. And personally I prefer Dylan's version of "All Along the Watchtower" compared to Hendrix's. Dylan was a little more gritty with it.

Honestly, if we're speaking STRICTLY talent-wise (negating impact)

Alicia Keyes >>>Bob Dylan

Boyz II Men>>The Beatles

And I'm waiting for someone to argue with me about that shyt.

The Beatles just inspired a movement and came out at exactly the right time, but they shouldn't even be compared to greats like Michael Jackson or Stevie Wonder. And yes, this is coming from someone who has listened to a lot of their shyt
I'm not even a fan of the Beatles but in all honesty we weren't even around when the Beatles were on the scene and blowing up. This was before MTV and music videos and the net. you can't really dismiss a group or singer if you weren't in that era to personally witness it.These cats were from England and they had to wait til they got on the Ed Sullivan show just to introduce themselves to the American public. You can't just take your era cause you witnessed it and dismiss everything that blew prior to your birthdate.
