These all sound like silly complaints. Movies, books, videogames introduce new characters all the time. Secondly You haven't played the game so do you know the levels are "rehashed" or even how the storyline progresses.? Sounds like incel babble to meIt has zero to do with incels

Last of us 1 had Joel as the primary protaganist, and there were still alot of people just weren't ready to move on from him after just one game. The expected a passing of the torch moment but honestly the spoilers makes it look like he goes out in a pretty pitiful way. Imagine how upset people would be if In Captain Marvel 2 she gets killed off early in the film by a crazed pedo, and they just move on with the franchise with Samuel L Jackson as the primary lead?at least thats what i think. I'm not just dismissing it as incels this or incels that. Just Joel fans not getting what they wanted for his character. Logan the movie is a better example of how to give your original protaganist a good send off while passing the reign to a new lead. If the made a sequel to that starring the little girl, nobody would have a problem with it.

I don't remember The Left Behind DLC getting any backlash, I thought it was fine when I played it.
