How would you feel if a guy was saying shyt like "women don't really think well at certain times of the month, they're too over emotional, and quite frankly can't lead anybody."

Men and women are different and are treated differently in our society. They are not complete opposites but differ in varying degrees, whether because of biological development or sociological upbringing.

You can observe and see if most people in a group tend to do the same thing, it becomes "typical" of that group. It doesn't mean that all of them do it, all the time. It is not a defining characteristic.

Im not saying all women or men do xyz but that it is typical.

The issue occurs when people confuse the two.

Another issue that comes up is that people tend to think masculine vs. feminine instead of seeing it as two sides of one coin. They work together.
