I have pretty much the most basic plan. (25 down/5 up) I'm not doing shyt but streaming the occasional shows(on the goat internet cable service VUE) and gaming. But these a$$hole throttle my shyt down to damn near 3mpbs Is there anyway I can overcome this?

I never have the problems with Comcast other nikkas have so I can't complain me and my girl use like 500gb+ a month no issues

Plus home security for 120 but I have all of my own equipment outside of their cable box

I upgraded to a triple play with Blast and now Comcast has been going out of their way to make sure I'm good

Oh god, I fought Comcast for 2 years in Houston (now I got Verizon Fios ).

There are two things you can do to up your speeds.

1) change your MAC address with a program called TMAC (assuming you're on a PC). Change it every week. They'll catch on if you change it too much, but it'll take a year if you change it every week)

2) get a VPN (it'll work for a few months then they'll catch on and it won't work anymore, but it's a quick fix)

Basically all u really need is internet but i got Triple Play..for now
