I have mentioned multiple times I spent a large portion of my life around white people. I was in their homes. I PAWGed heavy before I knew better. I have said this. They absolutely shame women who have children out of wedlock. It is not a part of their culture. Plus, they have a system to protect them. We don’t. We can’t afford to do the wrong thing on purpose.

We have taken negative things, and normalized them, and when anyone points that out, it’s “You’re against black people.” And even if other do it, SO WHAT! It has proven to be bad having a generation of kids raised by single mothers. I have personally known black men who think all you need is a mother, and not a father. They say, “I was raised by my mom, and I turned out fine. Mom held it down.” Those men weren’t that active in their children’s lives.

And there is no “PR for cacs” coming from me, because I’m assuming we’re discussing this among other black people. It would be one thing to broadcast it on Twitter or YouTube. But on the coli, pragmatic, honest discussions get turned into “you’re a cac or c00n” when you acknowledge that some of our problems are self afflicted.
