Ticket prices for football or any sport really aren't that high (with the exception of Prize Fights, Floyd Mayweather, Mike tyson, Manny Pacquiao [The Floyd Canelo fight ticket prices range from 350 to 2000]), it's the resale prices that are high as fukk. Some of the tickets go on sale for reasonable prices, some are purchased by season ticket holders who then put them up on stubhub and raise the prices & many of the tickets are sold to ticket brokers who do the same. One of the things you have to take into account is that for NFL teams, there's often a waiting list to even get season tickets.....You literally can't get them for many teams. That pushes up the resell value as well as there only being 8 home games. There's ways to get tickets to events before they hit the black market you just have to know how to do so.

For Example....I went to the Eagles vs Packers Playoff Game 2 years ago. I paid $125 for this seat which was on the 100 level right behind the endzone....The fukked up thing is that the standing room/upper level tickets cost like $75 retail. Literally no one within our squad were eagles fans either. We all had the same seats. Funny thinking about it, some hard core eagles fan probably spent a grip on those tickets. We barely spent anything.

I went to the NBA Finals...Game 6.....This was a $125 seat, 100 level behind the backboard, I was charged $300 for this seat on the black market and the broker could have gotten more but we had an understanding from one real nikka to another as he put it......

You have to be a 5th year senior or a grad student to qualify to get student seating at Texas A&M... and it's $80 I think... unless you find someone selling. They are basically giving iron bowl tickets away this year :bryan: and I bought my v tech student ticket for $30. I'm not looking forward to the day I graduate and pay regular people prices :sadcam: trying to see if I can get at least $350 for my extra LSU ticket this year :blessed:

Wizards seats ain't that cheap. I go to the Houston games and get seats behind the press for bout 130. And that's the best I usually find. And Houston hasn't had a before harden in years and that was with wall ring injured.

Miami tickets got to be dbl that.

The worst were tickets at the nets new stadium.

edit: i was wrong lol

yea you can't even find an nfl ticket these days.. there are expensive as fukk on stubhub but you go to ticketmaster and they are all sold out.. but even on stubhub, the corner seats are $80 vs. the lakers.. and right behind the basket is $70...

in comparison on stub the highest seat in the house vs. the bills is $110.. i'm thinking the real price has to compare somewhat but good luck finding tickets online once the season schedule is released

I'm glad I got a longtime friend who's a season ticket holder for the 49ers. I wanna see them play either the Seahawks or the Texans this season. The Candlestick finale (Dec 23) is too close to Xmas though but at least I don't have to deal with paying the current rate for the other games. He just told me to pay him the original face value of the tix, NOT the current rate .

Dude is a huge tailgater too so not bad of a deal at all.

But yeah, fukk going to a live game. If I go to a game it's to tailgate and watch the game outside the stadium outside the stadium. It's just as fun and don't cost an arm and a leg. I've been too over 50 live football games. I've been to enough, it's way better on TV or outside the stadium or at a bar.

Next live game I pay to go to is going to be a Super Bowl and I'll be saving up for months and make a week vacation out of it.

I do this but it's definitely not "just as fun" or "way better"than being at the game inside the stadium.

Yeah.

One year after Ok St beat us the ticket demand for the re-nmatch was insane. I sold my student ticket for nearly the entire cost of the season tix package and just watched it at my apt.

Once they saw students were making money off tickets, they fixed it some kinda way where you couldn't do it anymore.

I was hustling off them student tickets for two years. Got a couple of students to buy me tickets and I would resell them at like twice the price. Then they changed it so that if you had student tickets you had to present a student ID to get into that section and fukked me all up.

Tried the same hustle with NBA tickets but way harder to flip those tickets.

Depends on where you are. When I was stationed in NO, I used to stay going to Hornets game. Went to two playoff games against the Lakers.
