Why are gamers accepting this DLC shyt?

See thread title...ppl are paying extra for "deluxe" additions, console exclusive in-game items, in-game items period, $15 for maps , etc. fukk is wrong with yall? Yeah some of the DLCs are enticing, but Im not paying more than the $60 I gave these greedy fukks already, which should be for a full game. You can argue that its additional content, but I can't even find a game that holds my attention anymore but they still trying to sell me extra shyt?

Seriously, somebody let me know how you can be ok with paying more than $60 ( I'm not paying that much either) for a game. My boy at work pays $120+ for COD every year . All gamers really need to stop buying this DLC shyt and maybe the devs will stop being a$$holes

Only buy DLC's for games I feel are worth the money. That should really be the only reason anyone ever does. Some people enjoy CoD and have no problem buying the game and the extra maps they release throughout the year. I fukkin hate CoD so buying the game alone is status. I got it for free and didn't even consider the thought of maybe deciding to pay for any DLC.

I loved Forza Horizon and when they announced the Rally DLC I jumped on that. I fukked with Skyrim heavy so I bought the Dragonborn and Dawnguard DLC's. Got BF4 free on PC with my GPU and bought the premium package for like 25% off so I can have all the maps.

If you buying DLC for games you don't like(or buying uninteresting looking DLC, period) you're fukking up, but if you enjoy the game to the point you'd be willing to buy DLC, then have at it. Don't buy every DLC that comes your way though. Also, buy GOTY editions and shyt if $60 + DLC is a huge thing to you breh.

The really bad thing about DLC is when matchmaking is split by whether or not you have new MP maps.

The match making thing is what really pisses me off. But I hear what you saying. I enjoyed Forza and I like UFC a lot, but even though I play those the most I just can't see paying for anything additional. I think the developers of Warframe did it perfectly. Give me the game for free and If it's worth it maybe I'll buy something. I don't expect anyone to give away games for free, but Im just saying

Microsoft Started this nonsense for charging for XBL with just P2P servers and no dedicated servers. When all of these other companies caught on it got gradually worse and worse. we went from a generation that had 100 of free maps for FPS (quake,unreal,halflife) and true Expansion packs like starcraft broodwar to the mess that we have today where paying 15dollars for a few maps or cars etc because the kids today just don't know any better...

But anyway. I've never purchased DLC and I never will. If compelling content is added I will buy the GOTY adition which is what I did with titles like red dead redemption and skyrim. And I probably will with titanfall.

As much as I love the forza franchise I have NEVER purchased an extra vehicle and I won't start now

Those were worth it because the original game itself contained more than enough content.. and each DLC was like a whole other game, well not the house shyt, that was some bs, even though it was a nice little addition... Some games come out with 4 and 5 different DLC's and doesnt equal up to what was included with skyrim out the box..
