Why Are guns considered "cac-ish" by some at the Coli?

I noticed that some at the Coli consider guns a cac thing, im pro gun but not in a cac fetish type of way, I see guns as a tool and only to be used in extreme circumstances, i dont put it on a pedestal like a lot of these cacs.

black and brown people should get more into guns/self defense cause with the whole government in right wing hands, we don't know what is in store for any one thats non white.

Probably because of gun culture.

I've recently become VERY interested in guns and shooting (for sport and home defense), but I still get dirty looks if I walk into a gun store b/c I'm usually the only black person there.

Not to mention that most in-depth resources on firearms are done by rednecks, and black people who give gun advice are omega-level c00ns.

I really like this guy for individual gun reviews; he's kind of a redneck but he's really cool; reminds me of my old shop teacher. This guy is cool for general gun advice; he's Latino, former Marine infantryman, and has a lot of common sense videos about concealed carry.
