The only solution is if landlords and tenants both come together to fight the banks and lobbyists
This.Regular people don't own 1-2 rental properties...
Regular people make 30k, do service work and live check to check![]()
The whole system is broken. Landlords get high interest loans and charge it back to renters as well as charging market rate rents. Market rate rents are stupid high. Wages are stupid low.. who's fault.. government. They left it up to Business to pay fair wages. They mandate minimum wages that are not keeping up with inflation. So most businesses pay the bare minimum they can get away with.Should we bring back high rise government housing
What price will you pay to not be homeless, retard? They're going to charge what the market will pay...
If the govt wants to put some sort of cap on increases or price per month, it should be done on individuals/corporations that hold 10+ properties. Also, that can be difficult to track b/c owners will have a different LLC for every property...most in chicago already do that already.
dont have issue with breh.. sure he worked to get where hes at.. the issue is the market itself and the corps that run it...notice he said the "management company he used told him to raise it"..
Management company is just a relate estate company that manages the property for him, repairs, tenants etc
FalseThe average landlord is just a regular person
no that doesn't work, Better to have mixed income or mid level/low rises and make sure the city actually takes care of them.
What does this meanWe need to liberalize zoning and end real estate speculation
