Do you think that whatever medical/security reasons you’re reaching for justify the separation of families at such a large scale? Do you think republicans would tell such stupid lies about the policy if it was truly justified?

I don’t feel qualified to say what are or aren’t appropriate numbers for this sort of thing. I’m also in no position to say whether a detained child is or isn’t in any danger.
But obviously you and HL’s left are, so my question to HL is how do you know the children aren’t justifiably separated and can you share your evidence?
Cause I’m not seeing it.

I'm the same way. But like I said, the media is going to show what they want to show, but it's like that for all sides. And we should criticize anything that's wrong, whether it has major media attention or not. Once people realize that they can make changes without the hype of a journalist it'll be bad news for the controlling parties.

There have been dozens of articles about the negative impact this is having on children. Again, you have to bury your head pretty deep not to have seen any of them but I know you prefer sources that are... different.

They’ve snatched a kid from a mother in the middle of breast feeding. They are lying to parents about that their kids are getting medical treatment just so they can put them in a cage. These are not actions worth defending.

The fact that you’re bending over backwards to defend people who you rightly describe as idiots says a lot about where you’re coming from. You’ve already sided with these idiots despite not knowing the basics of the situation apparently.
