Really ?? How the hell do you come up with that? Are you saying things were fine before those measures were in place ??Aside from my utter disdain for govt. force, I don't believe this fight for inclusion/integration has benefited us.![]()
No, I'm saying those measures didnt solve the problem... in fact I think forced integration exasperated things.Really ?? How the hell do you come up with that? Are you saying things were fine before those measures were in place ??

We aren't liking, or at least shouldnt be liking them either.Well white people started it in the first place 400 years ago. Now they don't like the results. Cry me a river.
Personal question (and I may be dead wrong, if I am my mistake): Didn't you start your own bar with a white person/partner?
I'll have a better response to you other posts later.

Yes, my partner is white.
Short answer is individualism > collectivism when the collective is controlled/infested by/with Nazis
I believe in black exceptionalism, and think left to compete side by side with whites in a free market, we would pull ahead despite our unequal starting point.
I also recognize the state as the mechanism by which white supremacy is enforced and maintained and will always side with diminishing it.
Hmmmm I guess you could say a general distrust of white America has pushed me towards individualism
Byproduct of an ideology unreliant on emotion
Its easy to look down on some one making arguments out of "feels"
1. It isnt leading to less racism... in fact the hasnt been this bigoted in a long time...1.Well this would be a moot point if 'separate but equal' actually exists/existed.
While you believe less gov't will get us there, some think less racists will get us there.
While you believe giving racists less power will get us equal standing, some think having less racists period will get us equal standing.
2. Wouldn't black collectivism be more beneficial than black individualism? Why fight it alone when we can fight it together?
I hope you realize the majority of libertarians consist of white Americans you would probably distrust, surely there's a logical explanation for that or am I making a sweeping generalization?
Kinda new to politics and one of my close friends identifies as a libertarian. Could someone explain why they're perceived as racist and should I be concerned?
It promotes freedom of association as an extension of property rights, or as you will hear it here 'the right to discriminate'.Kinda new to politics and one of my close friends identifies as a libertarian. Could someone explain why they're perceived as racist and should I be concerned?

Ah yeah he's mentioned this before alongside the free market. One of my few white 'friends' or associates and I'm very wary of any that don't identify as liberal.

I also am not interested in "equality" just liberty and justice. Equality in my opinion is a unnecessary platitude that distracts us.
2. Its an ideology not a gang. I don't have to like or be friends with any libertarians to agree with the tenets of individualism.
Black collectivism is a steeper climb than individualism because of the lasting trauma of slavery, but i'm not opposed to unforced group economics at all.
