I got it in the morning and immediately knew my day would be messed up
nausea, fever, vomiting and sensitivity to light and sound, I had to be in a dark room all day :why:

does anyone else get them here and there? and what do you'll do to lessen the severity of it

Houston to LA like I'm Robert Horry.
Yep I get them about twice a year. Usually after a hard workout or hike. Big on sunglasses and drinking a lot of water.

My wife unlocked a cheat code with putting a heating pad on my head when the symptoms kick in. That’s helped subdue a lot of the symptoms especially the nausea.

Change your diet

Its not easy, but you got to stop eating Fructose

could be the opposite for me, I am eating less than 1,200 calories a day. one month in, lost about 8 pounds.
1 more month to go and I will be in great shape, down to about 13% body fat.

my new diet could also be triggering it.

Yeah I get them. My vision always fukks up before the headache comes. shyt is the worst

that throbbing pain behind the eye is the devil, can't distract urself by watching a movie or something, there's nothing u can do but wait it out

Calories mean nothing what I'm talking about. Cut out the Fructose

Sugar causes restriction of blood flow to your brain, which causes the migraine. Sugar literally makes your veins/arteries sticky

Have sex.

Not being immature but sex helps with migraines. Sex releases dopamine that cures headaches.

THERE IS NO DEFINITIVE ANSWER TO MIGRAINES - WHILE ONE PERSON MIGHT FIND SUGAR TO BE A TRIGGER, ANOTHER MIGHT FIND THAT LACK OF SUGAR IS THEIRS.. EVERY CASE IS UNIQUE, WHICH IS WHY THERES STILL NO CURE

IVE SUFFERED FROM MIGRAINES MY ENTIRE LIFE..USED TO HAVE THEM DAILY - ITS PRETTY MUCH A CONDITION WHICH CAN BE MANAGED BUT VERY DIFFICULT TO CURE

I STILL GET THEM REGULARLY, BUT NOT AS BAD

MY MIRACLE BREAKTHROUGH WAS A PRESCRIPTION PILL CALLED RIZATRIPTAN.. ITS NOT A CURE- MORE LIKE A BANDAID. BUT IF I EVER FEEL A BAD ONE BREWING, I POP ONE.

RIZATRIPTAN DOESNT ALWAYS TAKE THE MIGRAINE AWAY, BUT IT USUALLY DOES, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, I HAVENT HAD A LEVEL 10 MIGRAINE SINCE DISCOVERING IT 4 YEARS BACK.. SO EVEN IF THE MIGRAINE DOESNT COMPLETELY VANISH, IT BECOMES MUCH MORE TOLERABLE .. I USED TO HAVE A LEVEL 10 ONCE A WEEK PRIOR TO RIZATRIPTAN AND A LEVEL 5-8 AT LEAST EVERY OTHER DAY. NOW IM DOWN TO A LEVEL 2-4 ABOUT 2-3 TIMES A WEEK AND A LEVEL 5 ABOUT ONCE A MONTH

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT IF U ARE A TRUE SUFFERER

damm can't imagine this being regular for you, I think I had a high level as I was rendered useless the whole day running to the bathroom or going back to my dark room.

I get em like 2 or 3 times a year, they last no more than 24 hours.

when you feeling it coming and you take the Riza, does it completely go away or it lessens the severity

your stars are but dust on my shoes
As soon as I feel one coming, I take the Excedrin migraine pills, which is basically Tylenol and caffeine.

If you don't have the Excedrin PM, try to drink a lot of caffeine. Coca cola or coffee. I get jittery, but it helps alleviate the worst of the pain, and if I nap, I'll be good.

For me, I think I can generally trace it back to staying up super late, and having an irregular sleeping pattern. Working out, and sleeping normally has kept my migraines away, I usually only get them once or twice a year, and I can typically curb their duration with the Excedrin pills and sleeping in darkness.

YEA MAN, LIFE WAS HELL.. I JUST HATED BEING ALIVE DURING A MIGRAINE AND IT WAS A REGULAR OCCURRENCE, SO ANY DAY WHERE I WAS MIGRAINE-FREE FELT LIKE A GIFT FROM GOD

BUT YEA, I EDITED MY POST TO INCLUDE MORE INFO…. SO TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION, THE RIZATRIPTAN TYPICALLY MAKES IT GO AWAY COMPLETELY

WHEN IM POPPIN EM DAILY FOR A FEW DAYS STRAIGHT, IT WORKS LESS.. BUT STILL LESSENS THE SEVERITY TO WHERE U CAN AT LEAST FUNCTION.

IT ALL DEPENDS THO.. MOSTLY IT KILLS THE MIGRAINE OFF COMPLETELY.

THIS DOESNT WORK FOR MOST PEOPLE

CAFFEINE IS A TRIGGER FOR MANY MIGRAINE SUFFERERS

LIKE I SAID, EVERY CASE IS DIFFERENT

Mine are caused by tightness in my neck muscles and/or eyestrain. Also dehydration and lack of sodium cause me to have migraines.

Once you figure out the cause, you can manage it or get rid of it completely.
