Why are most women terrible at conversation?

A bunch of reasons. I'm fond of bullet points and lists so bear with me...

-most men don't hold them to that expectation- Men scream constantly about ass and titties, can't be friends with a chick...and so on. So some who are primarily motivated by male attention only cultivate the physical.
-they are shallow- Some chicks don't have a lot going for them. It is what it is.
-ur interests don't match-They've got stuff to talk about but ur just not interested in it. That's not on them.
-not well-rounded-nuff said
-socially-awkward-Oh u didn't think the age of technology only negatively impacted male communication skills did u? There's a LOT of blk Hinatas out there seething and sad that nobody saw them or that they were obscured by the Cardi Bs of the world. But they can't blame men for not seeking them out when they were nowhere to be found or displayed crippling lack of communication skills when engaged. I gotta homegirl who makes me do play by play text conversations before talking to a guy she likes. WTF?!
-not used to opening up to talking to men out of fear of not being interesting- A lot of women have entire secret worlds they keep from men that they only show to women because they are afraid of irritating or boring men.
-the mentality that the man is there for entertainment- I call it the "court jester" mentality. These chicks initiate dry ass texts then complain when dudes don't want to engage further.
-too goal oriented- Some chicks are too driven to where they allow themselves to be defined by their hustle. That's all they can talk about because it's all they do.
-can't be themselves- Men make women just as uncomfortable as women make men. And our generation's penchant for hiding behind technology has only compounded this shyt.

On the flip side, a lot of dudes online who complain about this have very singular interests which leads me to believe that this is less about conversation skills and more about wanting to find a geeky partner in crime. Which is fine, but not everybody is going to wanna deconstruct religious themes of human autonomy and faith in Berserk on a Saturday night.
Just my 2 cents.

I didn't read any of the shyt this fat girl typed, but I quoted it to make a point.

Fat or unnattractive(low social value) women are generally better at conversation and talking overall. So if you want good conversation on a broader scale, get with them.

Most men going to have to luck up ifthey want better, but that's easily doable.

It seems like a majority of chicks have no real interests, hobbies, or passions.

It's almost as if they just do the bare minimum in life and see themselves as a pair of boobs and an ass... but then they act like its disrespectful when all you can think of talking about is smashing it's not like you're interesting enough to give a nikka anything else to talk about

Conversation is a lost art nowadays.

When it comes to conversation with women, go deep not wide. When she says something about a topic "Repeat what she said and ask a open ended question related to the topic"

You can also use statements to get a glimpse of her personality. If she talks about she's from a certain city, you can make a reference to her city. If she's talking about food you can make a reference to her favorite foods or your favorite foods. Same with music, art, culture, race, what topic they're passionate about, etc.

Statements do make the convo smoother. Because you're in a flow state. Just like water.

Vocal tonality and body language also makes a difference. A deeper voice gets your foot in the door. A high pitched voice leads to approval seeking.

The key is not overthinking and being an active listener. We live in a society full of talkers and takers but not givers and listeners. Narcissism also plays a role in western culture.
