Do these young girls even listen to Cardi and Meg faithfully anymore? I think one thing that’s being overlooked is that females have way more options as far as rap goes. Ice Spice, Sexy Red, Scarlip, Bia, Latto etc.

Doja Cat is killing it right now. Glorilla was scorching just last year. The new crop of girls are more ratchet and edgier than ever.

I think Cardi could bounce back but she definitely overplayed her hand by thinking she can live off 1 album and some singles. Meg I don’t know. I think the Tory Lanez situation hurt her somewhat.

Nicki would be good if she accept the fact she ain’t the #1 female rapper anymore. She should be doing what Lil Wayne is doing and embrace the youth…keep yourself relevant with features and just drop music for her stan club.
