make sure your analysis identifies the structural implications on the black experience and not some neo conservative "blacks are exploitable because its their own fault bullshyt" because if you take that shyt to a conference I'm at or publish it, I'm calling you out...real scholars go after the real reasons, which are historical and global, national, and local implications on exploitation. U need to read Marx, Derrida, Engels, Aldon Morris, Sundiata Cha-Jua, Clarence Lang, and others (look into some subaltern studies as well)

I'm doing my PhD on a similar subject and I wrote my Masters Thesis on a similar subject so if you want more advice, pm me

I think it has a lot to do with conditioning. From the beginning of slavery, blacks have been told that they are inferior to other races. Also, during slavery blacks were trained about inferiority within our race. For example, the lighter you are, you are in the house or closer to the house (house ******) and the darker you are, you are in the field or farther from the house (field ******). Remember, the house ****** received better treatment. This is conditioning that was done almost 400 years old and it still affects us today. For instance, the fact that a lot of blacks still believe that lighter is better or being mixed makes you more beautiful. Sorry for rambling those are just the tip of my thoughts.

personal experience and family will not have your research looked at seriously...you have to use scholarly works and authors...look at the journals like The Black Scholar, Journal of African American History, and some political science journals as well. Once you read these, you will learn the trends and ldevelop strategies on how to stop it. Trust that and good luck with your work...I'm, here to support if you need it; I always love when folks are serious about developing solutions to our plight and not pooping shyt on forums. :salute:

blacks left their minds on the plantations plain and simple. The majority of us still think like slaves. We fear the reality of doing for ourselves so we look to our white liberal slave master to do for us. This is why whenever you tell black folk to get off their ass and do for self there is usually objections. Doing for self is impossible because were perpetual victims. With 1.1 trillion in spending power Pharaoh has already let us go. It is US who've have not let Pharaoh go.

Don't give a fukk about education for the most part
Obsessed with the media
Too many wannabe entertainers
Don't think long-term
