Come on now NY We expect all the wet behind the ears NY rappers like Astro to get rowdy...but you'd would think that the OG's from NY who have stamped their mark in NY would have something to say to K. dot about claiming their city Rappers like Cam'ron, Method Man, Jadakiss and 50...well maybe not 50...he's too busy trying to dikkride Kendrick's hype to get a release date...wouldn't just sit there and take it. You'd think they'd have something to say about that ugly nappy headed troll claiming that dirty ass city

i spoke to a couple of OG NY rappers, in particular i asked one if i could produce his response and he flatout told me that this was just him talking shyt and he had no reason to do so. alot of these dudes dont really seem to care as they feel they are accomplished enough to let it slide. i guess after more than 20 in the game its hard to care after awhile for some people.

Kendrick is my favorite artist of these new nikkas, but people are trying to crown him too easy.
Pressuring people to respond as if the sun was in default mode, let nikkas breathe, come home from vacations, take their sons to a baseball game.

And after that perhaps get in the studio and record a song.

Kendrick gave these nikkas some bars on an unofficial, non-cd quality mastered song and we're expecting cats to stop what they are doing and record a song just for the purpose of responding to a new rapper?

I would say so.

When you're now starting out and on the come up you would be hungry as fukk, as a result you would want to prove yourself and would get at any dude that would come for your head. But after more than a decade in the game it sorta becomes a "meh" thing, mainly because you've put in work and you're not that hungry anymore.

Plus, Ken's record was more aimed at the current gen of rappers...he even went as far as to exclude the legends...so as an OG I wouldn't feel some type way about Ken's record in particular, it wouldn't feel like he's coming for my head but more playing in the sand box with all the other kids you know?
