Because pretty much every metric stat available shows Chris Paul is better.

He averages more assists, less turnovers, is far better defensively, has better understanding of controlling pace and tempo, and pretty much turned the Clippers from a joke to a damn good franchise.

Curry is the better shooter and that's literally it.

You have valid points for the most part. 2 things that may be arguable though:
-CP has taken over games with is scoring in the 4th multiple times. He is known to do that.
- CP's PER is a full 4 pts higher. That says something

I'm torn between the two, but just thought I'd point that out
