Hey, I've got a bit of a newbie question that I cannot seem to find the answer to. How do I get privileges to create my own threads? I can post just fine and dandy, but if I try to create a thread in any given subsection is says on the bottom of the screen that I have "insufficient privileges"

I checked the forum rules and FAQ and didn't see the question addressed anywhere, so it must be an easy problem to fix, right?

Something as simple as putting thread making restrictions on people deep in the red would greatly improve the quality of threads.

And I don't want to hear about the neg train excuse because only a few people went from having a decent rep to being deep in the red. Most of the other people who got in the red earned it through awful posts.

Never been a fan of rep deciding anything. Plenty of trash threads get made by people in green too. Better off moderating threads instead of rep
