Why are PS4 Plus games "free" for one month while Xbox One Gold Games are free 4ever??

Yeah, you're not doing anything but renting the "free" game really

It never ceases to amaze me how many people think they can keep their xbx1 gwg games forever even after their sub expires.
The amount of people who let their subs expire also surprises me.

Only thing I feel bad is that the games rotate and cease to be free. I didn't check in June and missed on 2k16.
