Why are "real hip hop fans" so afraid to admit that Lil B & Chief Keef have been influential?

i like Lil B but Chief Keef aint shyt

plus both their influences have been mostly negative. nikkas copy Lil B's swag but they don't copy his indie spirit and way of doing things. These nikkas still go and sign terrible deals :snoop:

doubt most people ever heard of the black punk band 'Death' but there influence on punk music has been huge.

i was just listening to some random death vinyl i copped at the record shop the other day:ohhh:

%90 of these new nikkas get their swag from Lil B, known fact.

This.

Dude is ODB status...ain't no father to his style. Is alotta his music throw away...mos def ( he got str8 heat too tho). The main thing is that he makes what sounds good to him and didn't bite anybody.

Everybody else are just attempting to sound like everybody else...scared to experiment.

I fukks w/ Based God and Sosa on some "i'm listening to this for fun and it's ignorant..."
I don't take them seriously at all...I like how Lil B thinks, though...doesn't take himself that seriously.
The people they've influenced are absolutely horrible and Lil B's emergence lowered the difficulty level of rapping...and peoples' ear level. Now they're more tolerant to fukk shyt. That makes it harder for people who actually RAP. It's kinda disrespectful to people that ACTUALLY RAP.

The pandering threads are disgusting. Ive never heard anyone say they weren't influential, just whether their influence is good or not.
